Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Christies in London held the auction British and European Art, which included the work Town dock in summer by Salomon Leonardus Verveer. The price achieved of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,382.84) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Salomon Leonardus Verveer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Town dock in summer von Salomon Leonardus Verveer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.382,84) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
