It achieved a price of EUR 8,125.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salomon Leonardus Verveer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.

Die Arbeit Laying out the nets von Salomon Leonardus Verveer kam im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 8.125,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
