Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism), which included the work A fishing village in the dunes by Salomon Leonardus Verveer. The price achieved of EUR 5,375.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salomon Leonardus Verveer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 102,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th century Art - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A fishing village in the dunes von Salomon Leonardus Verveer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.375,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salomon Leonardus Verveer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch the Ferry On The Maas Near Dordrecht im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 102.750,00.
