Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A still life with tulips in a vase by Salomon Garf was sold in the PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS auction at Christies in Amsterdam in January 2002. The price achieved of EUR 822.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Salomon Garf have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strandszene in November 2014 with an auction result of EUR 6,450.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A still life with tulips in a vase von Salomon Garf wurde im Januar 2002 in der Auktion PICTURES WATERCOLOURS AND DRAWINGS bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 822,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salomon Garf auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strandszene im November 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 6.450,00.
