Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Blue Composition) by Saliba Douaihy was auctioned at Sothebys in Doha in October 2014. The price achieved of USD 68,750.00 (€ 54,868.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Saliba Douaihy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 336,500.00 (€ 288,346.19).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Blue Composition) von Saliba Douaihy kam im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in Doha zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.750,00 (€ 54.868,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Saliba Douaihy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.500,00 (€ 288.346,19).
