Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Salah Taher could be acquired at Bonhams in London in March 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Middle Eastern Art Online Sale auction, the work The Pharoah changed hands for GBP 1,275.00 (€ 1,497.80) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Salah Taher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Metaphysic in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Salah Taher konnte im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Middle Eastern Art Online Sale wechselte die Arbeit The Pharoah für GBP 1.275,00 (€ 1.497,80) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Salah Taher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Metaphysic im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80).
