Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Salah Taher could be acquired at Bonhams in January this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online auction, the work Blue Abstraction changed hands for GBP 4,462.50 (€ 5,065.01) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Salah Taher have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Metaphysic in March 2016 with an auction result of USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,533.80).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Salah Taher konnte im Januar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Blue Abstraction für GBP 4.462,50 (€ 5.065,01) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Salah Taher auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Metaphysic im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.533,80).
