The work Curving path to the Amstel by Sal Meijer was sold in the 19th Century & Modern Art auction at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,375.00 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Sal Meijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aan den Omval, Amsterdam in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.

Die Arbeit Curving path to the Amstel von Sal Meijer wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion 19th Century & Modern Art bei Christies in Amsterdam versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sal Meijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aan den Omval, Amsterdam im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
