Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bridge at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, Amsterdam by Sal Meijer was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 5,625.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sal Meijer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Aan den Omval, Amsterdam in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bridge at the Oudezijds Voorburgwal, Amsterdam von Sal Meijer kam im September 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 5.625,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sal Meijer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Aan den Omval, Amsterdam im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
