Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Bateleurs) by Sakti Burman was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2015. The price achieved of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 20,981.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sakti Burman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rêve de Maya (Maya's Dream) in September this year with an auction result of USD 170,100.00 (€ 160,714.29).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Bateleurs) von Sakti Burman kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 20.981,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sakti Burman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rêve de Maya (Maya's Dream) im September diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 170.100,00 (€ 160.714,29).
