The work Love And Violence by Sakti Burman was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,680.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sakti Burman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rêve de Maya (Maya's Dream) in September this year with an auction result of USD 170,100.00 (€ 160,714.29).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.680,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden.
