Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Saitō Yoshishige was sold in the Japanese and Korean Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2004. The »bidding war« ended at USD 11,950.00 (€ 9,721.77), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Saitō Yoshishige achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 353,000.00 (€ 334,217.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Saitō Yoshishige wurde im März 2004 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 11.950,00 (€ 9.721,77) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Saitō Yoshishige erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 353.000,00 (€ 334.217,00).
