Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Sabhan Adam achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in February 2007. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sabhan Adam; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of USD 22,500.00 (€ 17,741.68).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sabhan Adam erzielte im Februar 2007 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sabhan Adam; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Oktober 2008 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 17.741,68).
