Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Festivities by S. Sudjojono was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2017. The price achieved of HKD 237,500.00 (€ 26,139.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by S. Sudjojono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pasukan Kita Yang Dipimpin Pangeran Diponegoro (Our Soldiers Led Under Prince Diponegoro) in April 2014 with an auction result of HKD 58,360,000.00 (€ 5,427,858.69).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Festivities von S. Sudjojono kam im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 26.139,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von S. Sudjojono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pasukan Kita Yang Dipimpin Pangeran Diponegoro (Our Soldiers Led Under Prince Diponegoro) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 58.360.000,00 (€ 5.427.858,69).
