Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ryszard Winiarski could be acquired at Christies in Paris in June 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Game of pattern and chance changed hands for EUR 8,750.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ryszard Winiarski achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Surface IV in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ryszard Winiarski konnte im Juni 2020 bei Christies in Paris für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Game of pattern and chance für EUR 8.750,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ryszard Winiarski erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Surface IV im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44).
