A top price for Ryszard Winiarski - as previously expected
In November 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective, which included the work Surface IV by Ryszard Winiarski. It changed hands for a price of GBP 138,600.00 (€ 162,729.44) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Surface IV is the most expensive artwork by Ryszard Winiarski that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Surface IV von Ryszard Winiarski zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 138.600,00 (€ 162.729,44) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Surface IV das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ryszard Winiarski, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
