This artwork by Ryan Mendoza achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Cologne in November 2021. In the Contemporary Passions auction, the work Mammarella sold for EUR 5,292.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Mendoza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Over The Shoulder, which sold at auction in February 2007 for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ryan Mendoza erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in Köln einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Passions wurde die Arbeit Mammarella für EUR 5.292,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Mendoza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Over The Shoulder beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35) versteigert wurde.
