Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Milan held the auction Contemporary and Modern Art, which included the work All I want for Christmas by Ryan Mendoza. It changed hands for a price of EUR 3,900.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ryan Mendoza - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Over The Shoulder, which sold at auction in February 2007 for USD 14,400.00 (€ 10,884.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Contemporary and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit All I want for Christmas von Ryan Mendoza zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 3.900,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ryan Mendoza mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Over The Shoulder beobachtet, die im Februar 2007 für USD 14.400,00 (€ 10.884,35) versteigert wurde.
