Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Ownership Dilemma by Ryan McGinness was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in March 2020. The price achieved of USD 9,375.00 (€ 8,500.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ryan McGinness have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mutual Information in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 54,575.22).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Ownership Dilemma von Ryan McGinness kam im März 2020 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 9.375,00 (€ 8.500,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ryan McGinness auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mutual Information im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 54.575,22).
