Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 701.25 (€ 696.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ruth Orkin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American Girl in Florence, Italy in February 2021 with an auction result of USD 52,812.50 (€ 43,671.96).
