The result of SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,743.92) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 15,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rupert Jasen Smith have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Greta Garbo in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 10,200.00 (€ 15,013.23).

Die Arbeit "The kiss", from: "Garbo" von Rupert Jasen Smith wurde im Mai 2013 in der Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.743,92) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rupert Jasen Smith auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Greta Garbo im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.200,00 (€ 15.013,23).
