Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Genomdraget av två trådar" by Rune Jansson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 17,000.00 (€ 1,464.80). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rune Jansson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2014 for SEK 38,000.00 (€ 4,210.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Genomdraget av två trådar" von Rune Jansson im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 17.000,00 (€ 1.464,80) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rune Jansson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2014 für SEK 38.000,00 (€ 4.210,96) versteigert wurde.
