In June this year Christies in London held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Untitled (from the Series Reconstructions) by Rudolf Polanszky. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,160.00 (€ 23,462.77), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolf Polanszky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Reconstructions / Dark Mirrors., which sold at auction in December 2020 for EUR 53,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (from the Series Reconstructions) von Rudolf Polanszky zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.160,00 (€ 23.462,77) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Polanszky mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Reconstructions / Dark Mirrors. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2020 für EUR 53.750,00 versteigert wurde.
