Auction result well in line with expectations
The work ‘The Winner' by Rudolf Koppitz was sold in the Important European Collection auction at Sothebys in Paris in November 2016. The price achieved of EUR 2,500.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Koppitz achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 399,000.00 (€ 330,462.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit ‘The Winner' von Rudolf Koppitz wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Important European Collection bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.500,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Koppitz erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 399.000,00 (€ 330.462,15).
