Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2020 a collector was able to acquire the work The Palace Guards by Rudolf Ernst for USD 93,750.00 (€ 84,512.76). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Ernst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 759,000.00 (€ 880,385.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2020 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Palace Guards von Rudolf Ernst für USD 93.750,00 (€ 84.512,76) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Ernst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 759.000,00 (€ 880.385,57).
