Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Musicians by Rudolf Ernst was sold in the The Orientalist Sale auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 69,300.00 (€ 82,101.78), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Ernst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 759,000.00 (€ 880,385.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Musicians von Rudolf Ernst wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 82.101,78) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Ernst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 759.000,00 (€ 880.385,57).
