Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Flute Player by Rudolf Ernst was sold in the The Orientalist Sale auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 12,600.00 (€ 14,927.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Ernst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 759,000.00 (€ 880,385.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Flute Player von Rudolf Ernst wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.600,00 (€ 14.927,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Ernst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Mosque Of Rüstem Pasha, Constantinople im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 759.000,00 (€ 880.385,57).
