Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2014 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings, which included the work Stone House by Rudi Mantofani. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 300,000.00 (€ 30,885.87), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudi Mantofani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 345,417.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2014 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Stone House von Rudi Mantofani zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 30.885,87) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudi Mantofani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 345.417,10).
