Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sofa Bata (Brick Sofa) by Rudi Mantofani was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2016. The price achieved of HKD 600,000.00 (€ 67,598.99) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 700,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rudi Mantofani have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 345,417.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sofa Bata (Brick Sofa) von Rudi Mantofani wurde im April 2016 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 600.000,00 (€ 67.598,99) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 700.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudi Mantofani auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 345.417,10).
