The work Pohon Pagi (Tree In The Morning) by Rudi Mantofani was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 237,500.00 (€ 22,517.64), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudi Mantofani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 345,417.10).

Die Arbeit Pohon Pagi (Tree In The Morning) von Rudi Mantofani wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 237.500,00 (€ 22.517,64) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudi Mantofani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 345.417,10).
