Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Nusantara Pagi (Dawn of the Archipelago) by Rudi Mantofani was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2014. The price achieved of HKD 300,000.00 (€ 28,372.43) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 260,000.00 – 350,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudi Mantofani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) in October 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,640,000.00 (€ 345,417.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Nusantara Pagi (Dawn of the Archipelago) von Rudi Mantofani kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 300.000,00 (€ 28.372,43) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 260.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudi Mantofani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bayangan Merah (Red Shadow) im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.640.000,00 (€ 345.417,10).
