Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italianorientale by Rubens Santoro was auctioned at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,388.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rubens Santoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venezia, Il Canal Grande Alla Salute in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 156,800.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Italianorientale von Rubens Santoro kam im April 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.388,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rubens Santoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venezia, Il Canal Grande Alla Salute im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.800,00.
