In November 2019 Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Autoritratto by Rubens Santoro. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 600.00 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rubens Santoro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Venezia, Il Canal Grande Alla Salute in June 2001 with an auction result of EUR 156,800.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 50 % übertroffen
Im November 2019 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture Del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autoritratto von Rubens Santoro zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 600,00 und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rubens Santoro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Venezia, Il Canal Grande Alla Salute im Juni 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 156.800,00.
