Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Cuatro Proverbios (Four Proverbs) by Rubén Torres Llorca for USD 6,875.00 (€ 6,509.18). This price was achieved in the auction Latin America: Modern Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Rubén Torres Llorca have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October this year by the work Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos at USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,749.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cuatro Proverbios (Four Proverbs) von Rubén Torres Llorca für USD 6.875,00 (€ 6.509,18) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Rubén Torres Llorca wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober diesen Jahres die Arbeit Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos mit USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.749,81).
