Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rubén Torres Llorca could be acquired at Bonhams in February this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art auction, the work Aún con mi enemigo bajo el mismo techo changed hands for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,803.90) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rubén Torres Llorca have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos in October this year with an auction result of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,749.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rubén Torres Llorca konnte im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art wechselte die Arbeit Aún con mi enemigo bajo el mismo techo für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.803,90) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rubén Torres Llorca auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.749,81).
