Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Rubén Torres Llorca for USD 280.50 (€ 264.57). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rubén Torres Llorca achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos in October this year with an auction result of USD 8,190.00 (€ 7,749.81).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rubén Torres Llorca für USD 280,50 (€ 264,57) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Cuban Art bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rubén Torres Llorca erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nosotros, los de entonces, ya no somos los mismos im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 7.749,81).
