Despite a disappointment, a good price for Rubén Méndez
When the work Six Works: Untitled by Rubén Méndez was auctioned at Phillips in New York in May 2013, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 6,250.00 (€ 4,812.13). Despite this disappointing result, Six Works: Untitled is the most expensive artwork by Rubén Méndez that we have observed at auction so far.

Als die Arbeit Six Works: Untitled von Rubén Méndez im Mai 2013 bei Phillips in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus.
