Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art Online, which included the work Pequeños vinculos by Rubén Alpízar. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,344.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rubén Alpízar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (From the series Pequeños vinculos), which sold at auction in November 2018 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 28,702.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pequeños vinculos von Rubén Alpízar zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.344,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rubén Alpízar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (From the series Pequeños vinculos) beobachtet, die im November 2018 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 28.702,64) versteigert wurde.
