Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2009 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian Study For Studio Interior, Paris Studio by Roy De Maistre. The price achieved of AUD 13,200.00 (€ 8,049.06) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roy De Maistre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian New Atlantis in November 2009 with an auction result of AUD 222,000.00 (€ 135,370.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2009 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian Study For Studio Interior, Paris Studio von Roy De Maistre zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 13.200,00 (€ 8.049,06) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roy De Maistre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian New Atlantis im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 222.000,00 (€ 135.370,55).
