Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Roy De Maistre was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of AUD 10,455.00 (€ 6,266.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roy De Maistre achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian New Atlantis in November 2009 with an auction result of AUD 222,000.00 (€ 135,370.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Roy De Maistre kam im April diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von AUD 10.455,00 (€ 6.266,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit AUD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roy De Maistre erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian New Atlantis im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 222.000,00 (€ 135.370,55).
