A top price for Rowland Wheelwright
In July 2019 Christies in London held the auction British & European Art: Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, which included the work The bluebell wood by Rowland Wheelwright. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,331.09). With this result, The bluebell wood is even the most expensive work of art by Rowland Wheelwright that we have observed at auctions so far.
