Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Man and dog out driving by Frederick Rowland Emett was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in December 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 870.00) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Rowland Emett achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Shell X100 By-Plane in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 12,000.00 (€ 17,820.38).

Die Arbeit Man and dog out driving von Frederick Rowland Emett wurde im Dezember 2010 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 870,00) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
