Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Riverwall for John Keats by Ross Wilson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. It achieved a price of GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,297.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ross Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Horse), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,343.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Riverwall for John Keats von Ross Wilson kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.297,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Für andere Arbeiten von Ross Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Horse) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.343,26) versteigert wurde.
