Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cassie Whitesides by Ross Wilson was sold in the Irish Sale Part II auction at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,503.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ross Wilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled (Horse) in October 2006 with an auction result of GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,343.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cassie Whitesides von Ross Wilson wurde im Mai 2006 in der Auktion Irish Sale Part II bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.503,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ross Wilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled (Horse) im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.343,26).
