Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 5 Crows by Ross Wilson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ross Wilson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Horse), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 9,600.00 (€ 14,343.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 5 Crows von Ross Wilson kam im Mai 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ross Wilson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Horse) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 9.600,00 (€ 14.343,26) versteigert wurde.
