In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work The Infant Samuel Kneeling At Prayer by Ross Chisholm. The »bidding war« ended at USD 3,000.00 (€ 2,554.71), 50% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ross Chisholm; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Polemic Bolemic sold at auction in September 2011 with the realized price of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,253.03).

Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Infant Samuel Kneeling At Prayer von Ross Chisholm zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 3.000,00 (€ 2.554,71) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ross Chisholm; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Polemic Bolemic im September 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.253,03).
