Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Phillips in New York held the auction Latin America, which included the work Cascata (from the series Frutos Estranhos) by Rosângela Rennó. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,187.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rosângela Rennó - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Young Prussian), Untitled (Old Prussian) (from the Red Series (Militantes)), which sold at auction in November 2018 for EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Latin America durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cascata (from the series Frutos Estranhos) von Rosângela Rennó zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.187,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rosângela Rennó mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Young Prussian), Untitled (Old Prussian) (from the Red Series (Militantes)) beobachtet, die im November 2018 für EUR 25.000,00 versteigert wurde.
