Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Marlon Brando as Stanley Kowalski in "A Streetcar Named Desire", for "Harper's Bazaar" by Ronny Jaques was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,187.50 (€ 2,872.14). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ronny Jaques - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Billie Holiday, 1950S, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 9,375.00 (€ 6,021.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Marlon Brando as Stanley Kowalski in "A Streetcar Named Desire", for "Harper's Bazaar" von Ronny Jaques kam im Mai 2020 bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.187,50 (€ 2.872,14) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ronny Jaques mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Billie Holiday, 1950S beobachtet, die im April 2008 für USD 9.375,00 (€ 6.021,97) versteigert wurde.
