Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Christies in New York held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Lychees by Rong Shushi. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,184.98) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 800.00 – 3,800.00. Other works by Rong Shushi have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February this year the work Lychee was auctioned for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,542.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lychees von Rong Shushi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.184,98) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 3.800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Rong Shushi konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar diesen Jahres die Arbeit Lychee für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.542,28) versteigert.
