Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Birds and Red Leaves by Rong Shushi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2019. The price achieved of HKD 13,750.00 (€ 1,594.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rong Shushi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lychee, which sold at auction in February this year for HKD 37,800.00 (€ 4,542.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Birds and Red Leaves von Rong Shushi kam im November 2019 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 13.750,00 (€ 1.594,75) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Rong Shushi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lychee beobachtet, die im Februar diesen Jahres für HKD 37.800,00 (€ 4.542,28) versteigert wurde.
